• Application data: information you submit in university applications (personal details, academic history, documents).
• Listing data: property details, images, and contact information you provide as a lister.
• Contact and newsletter: name, email, phone, message when you contact us or subscribe to the newsletter.
• Payment-related data: we do not store full card details; payment processing is handled by PayFast. We may store transaction references and subscription status.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage data (e.g. pages visited) as needed for security and improving the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate the Platform; process applications and listings; manage your account and subscriptions; communicate with you (e.g. confirmations, status updates, support); send newsletters if you opted in; improve our services; comply with legal obligations; and protect our rights and security.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: institutions you apply to (as part of your application); service providers who assist us (e.g. hosting, email); and authorities when required by law. Data is processed and stored in South Africa where possible.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Application and listing data may be retained for a longer period for compliance and support purposes.
